Barnes-Kershner

A very pretty wedding was solemnized on Wednesday evening at the home of Mrs. Rachel Kershner, when her daughter, Miss Lavina, and Mr. Howard Barnes, of Salem, were united in marriage, the Rev. W. P. Rilling, the bride's pastor, performing the ceremony. A reception followed the ceremony, the bride and groom receiving hearty congratulations from the guests. A wedding feast was next in order, and it was a most elaborate one. The bride was beautifully attired in white Lansdowne and lace, and carried white carnations. The bridesmaid, Miss Laura Brooker, was attired in white and carried pink carnations. The groom was attended by Mr. Corwin Wagner. They received many pretty and useful presents, and many hearty wishes for a life of great happiness. The following persons were present:

WEEK'S ILLNESS ENDS IN DEATH AT CLAYTON

Funeral Services for Howard H. Barnes to Be Held Sunday.

Howard H. Barnes, 50, terminating a week's illness, died at 7:30 o'clock Friday evening at the home of his father, Charles W. Barnes, near Clayton, Ohio.

Surviving him are a son, a daughter his parents, five sisters and a brother.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at Old Order Dunkard church at Clayton. Interment will be in Warner cemetery, near Clayton.
