TUBERCULOSIS CLAIMS ANOTHER

CLARENCE BRIGHT DIED AT HIS HOME NEAR VERNON, WEDNESDAY EVENING.

Recently Returned From the West Where He Failed to Regain His Health.

Clarence Bright passed away at his home near Vernon Wednesday evening of tuberculosis after an illness of several years. During the past three years he had spent several months in the west trying to combat the ravages of the dreaded disease but was compelled to give up the fight and return to his home to await the final call. Mr. Bright was one of the substantial oung men of the southern part of Wabash county having lived there his entire life and his departure is regretted by not only his relatives but also the many friends unto whom he has endeared himself during his residence there, to during his residence there.

He is the son of Mr. and Mrs.William Bright, living near Vernon and was 26 years of age. He was united in marriage five years ago to Miss Winifred Garst, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Garst, of Vernon, and is survived by his wife, parents and one sister, Mrs. Myrtle Harvey, south of the city. The funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock at the Dunkard church at Vernon. Interment will be made in the Vernon cemetery.
