Adrian Scott, son of Mrs. Archibald Scott, left last night for Golden, Colo., where he will enter the Colorado School of Mines. Although Mr. Scott is only seventeen, he is in his second year at the University of Nebraska, having graduated from the Lincoln high school at the age of fifteen. He will specialize in the science of mining.

ADRIAN SCOTT IS MUCH IMPROVED
Lincoln friends of Mrs. Effie Leese Scott received word from her this week that her son, Adrian, who has been very seriously ill at Phoenix, Ariz., is now doing splendidly and there is every hope of his recovery. He is still confined to the hospital, but greatly improved. Mrs. Scott and her son went to Phoenix in the early fall in an effort to benefit Mr. Scott who had not been well for sometime and because it was feared that another winter in Denver where they had been making their home would be too sever for him.
A few weeks ago he became suddenly very ill and his life was almost despaired of.
Mrs. Scott was connected with a Phoenix newspaper prior to Mr. Scott's illness and it is very probable that she will take up her work again now that he is improving.
