ROBERT M. LAU

Robert M. Lau, husband of Mrs. Minnie C. Lau, Spring Grove R. D. 2, former Spring Grove area farmer and milk distributor, died at 12:25 a. m. yesterday at York R. D. 7 after an illness. He was 72. Besides his wife, he leaves three sons, Steward E. Lau, Manchester; Paul W. Lau and Lewis Lau, both at home; a daughter, Mrs. William M. Senft, Spring Grove; six grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Daniel Leese, East Berlin. Mr. Lau was a member of Trinity (Roth's) Reformed church, Jackson township. Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning at the Sauter funeral home, North Main street, Spring Grove. The Rev. J. Keller Brantley, pastor of the Paradise Reformed charge, will officiate. Burial will be in the cemetery adjoining Trinity church. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home between 7 and 9 o'clock tonight.

Minnie C. Lau

CARLISLE — Minnie C. Lau, 99, of 442 Walnut Bottom Road, formerly of York, died Monday at Thornwald Nursing Home. She was the widow of Robert M. Lau who died in 1953.

Born in Dover Twp., she was a daughter of the late Emmanuel and Alice Moul Stambaugh. She was a member of Trinity (Roth's) United Church of Christ, Jackson Twp.

She is survived by two sons, Steward E. Lau, 409 Maple St., Manchester, and Paul W. Lau, Bainbridge; a daughter, Mrs. Willard J. Senft, 194 W. Railroad St., Spring Grove; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Sauter Funeral Home, Spring Grove, with her pastor, the Rev. Joseph M. Steinert, and the Rev. Richard W. Barley officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Viewing at the funeral home will be Thursday from 1 p.m. until time of service.
