The marriage of Miss Anna Pearl Towle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Towle, and Mr. John E. Taylor, last evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs.Towle on North West Fifth Street was a beautiful bridal function, about seventy-five invitations having been sent out.

Rev. O. C. Taylor, of Linton, Indiana, read the service, the vows being uttered in the archway between the fron and second second parlors. The bride unattended, entered with Mr. Taylor. Miss Huldah Kenley, accompanied by Miss Grace Forrey on the piano, singing several bridal airs just before the ceremony. The bride was charming in a beautiful costume of white silk batiste, profusely trimmed with valenciennes lace, and carried a boquet of bride roses.

The house was effective with floral decorations, vases and bowls of pink roses being placed in the front parlor, with quantities of daisies in the living-room. A buffet supper was served in the dining-room, this apartment being brilliant with nasturtiums, the table having a large flat piece of the flowers, the buffet being ornamented with the blossoms in an arrangement of the same character. Punch was served throughout the eveing, the bowl being placed in the second parlor, and Miss Forrey and Miss Kenley gave several delightful musical numbers.

Mr. and Mrs. Taylor went at once to their newly furnished home on North West Fifth street, where they will be at home to their friends after August 1.

Deaths And Funerals

John E. Taylor

John E. Taylor, 72 years old, 809 Locust drive, died late Friday night unexpectedly. A native of Indiana, he had lived in Richmond 52 years. He was a carpenter contractor.

Survivors are the widow, Pearl; one sister, Ira Gross of Richmond; one brother, Morton Taylor of South Bend.

Funeral services for Mr. Taylor will be at 2:30 p. m. Monday at the Doan & Son mortuary. Rev. Elwood Peyton will officiate, and burial will be in Earlham cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary after Sunday noon.

Mrs. John Taylor

Mrs. Pearl Taylor, 84 years old, 429 1/2 North West Eighth street, a native and lifelong resident of Wayne county, died Tuesday night. She was the widow of John Taylor.

Only cousins survive.

Services for Mrs. Taylor will be held Friday at the Doan and Johnson mortuary, the time to be announced. Rev. Heedlie Cobb will officiate. Burial will be in Earlham cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p. m.
